Prototype development covers a wide range of activities that are characterised by the development of a single, advanced robotic system or sub-systems.
Prototype development can range from rapid (from days to a few weeks) development for an urgent operational requirement (usually restricted to a small robot vehicle or a simple application) through to the the development of a unique, complex machine for a mission critical application.
Although prototype systems are not designed for later replication, they are built using client agreed quality procedures appropriate to the application, timescale and budget.
